That's what I have heard about juries. I have never been on one, but am scheduled for jury duty in January. I guess that I will get first hand knowledge.

But then again, with all of those crazies, idiots and bigots, there are also a few kholts out there. And one kholt can outweigh a bunch of bad jurors.

Having served on a few juries myself, I found the experience really amazing. If we are to be judged by our peers... that means that 12 people who are from various backgrounds, education, ideologies, biases, etc. will be on that jury. If we want to include all people in our society, we must be ready to be judged by those same people.

Of course, I will try to never be charged with anything!
