the report does support that proposition. Intel "invested" a lot of money into pricewar and I see no reason why it would ease up on the 1st signs of recovery without real pay-off.
I do think that the new cuts (scale and timing) are positive for both intel and amd.
JJ was calling for recovery for a while already. His conclusions about intel slightly strange like delay for 2.2GHz release is not important and yet slight increase in 3rd quarter speed is an indication of good yields. The shortages of only specific p4 speeds does not bother JJ either.
JJ mentioned relative high prices of xps but ignored it in overall analysis analysis
It all depends how you look at it......
