would not count these guys out. i am currently looking for replacement computer and am very favorably impressed by the environment (not a zoo like the electronics stores that sell computers) and knowledge at the gateway stores (order of magnitude better than at the electronics or office supply storres) - you tell them the attributes you want and they quickly customize a system to meet your requirements, also their 18 inch LCD display is awesome - similar price, equal or better quality than others' 17 inch LCD flat panel displays
