I may be off for a few months. Microsoft has done it again.
From limiting the use of Java to wiping out compatibility with existing software.
And if you need a hardware driver good luck! I'll hold off final judgment till I am more familiar with it.
As of now it is just a mess I wish I didn't have to fool with.

No I don't do that. Right now is 6.23am and I just got up, so I am having a look what's up in the US at 2:23pm there. Been getting up early in recent days. Usually I go to sleep late. So when the US market opens during your summer (our winter) at 11:30pm I would check in at the market open for 30 minutes to an hour to see what was happening. Currently I only have net 4% of NAV in my US account - two stock positions (one long - Safeway and one short - KKD) so it's really a bit of fun that's all, but as US markets drive what happens elsewhere it's good to have a feel for what is going on there. I don't bother doing any TA on the Aussie indices only US ones for example.
