As well as national i.d. cards. 9/11 has changed lots of minds. Along with making patriotism fashionable again, these mind-set changes may turn out to be the most significant after-effects of the WTC disaster. God truly moves in mysterious ways.

We will probably just have to disagree on this one.

BTW - You can lobby or pressure a friend without threatening them. In some cases the exact difference between strong pressure, and weak implied threats may be unclear, but I think we should avoid any direct threats in this instance.
