It adds up as being from someone other than the person who mailed the letters in Trenton. Further, it adds up as being from someone who knows the doctor personally, and has an ax to grind, e.g., jealous husband, old girlfriend, or colleague with a grudge. We know that until recently, it was possible to buy anthrax spores via mail order using a purchase order form which appeared to be from an institution which had a legitimate reason for culturing anthrax, e.g., pharmaceutical company, research lab, university. I have no idea what form such spores were in, but I would bet that they closely resemble the material which was mailed to the good doctor in Chile, who works in a research hospital. Just a hunch. I also bet that the envelope was steamed open and reused. There's no way that envelope was mailed from Reed Elsevier. That's a huge corporation with mailrooms.
