hey frank,
Clunkers LOL.
Not likely I'd ever actually get a Harley but I love the mystique. Ducati made a nice bike when I was up on that stuff, pretty exotic. I used to be partial to the old Norton Commando's in my 'youth', frailties and all but I've had all kinds more dirt bike 'projects' though than street bikes. Remember those little ole Yammy RD350's that could make a lot of superbikes look super silly ?

Of course the other side of that is 'You ever hit by a bumble bee at a 100+ (mph :o)', helmet and glasses only..... what a smack LOL

regards
Kastel (looking back on the foolishness of a somewhat charmed life...)

OT/Frank. Had several nice bikes

when I was in college and a few years after.

Fav was this beautiful, kick start, 650 Triumph T-120 road Bonneville (candy apple tank) I owned in 1967-68. Oh man....what an ass kicking machine that thing was!

Hot Mustang once made mistake of taking it on at a light. Even gave the dood a 20' head start. Hoot was when I blew by him, he missed a shift and left some pieces of his transmission on the pavement as he clanked to a stop.<g>

Run that bike through the gears and it had this deep throaty roar that was like music. Sweet.

Ah, to be 25 again....
