One should beware of making history into something it is not. It has been centuries since the Moors were driven out of Spain, and the Turks were driven out of the Balkans. There is no "age old struggle" to speak of. It is like saying that because Byzantium lasted longer than Turkey (the Ottoman Empire), it is inevitable that the Empire will be reestablished. Different times, different circumstances..........
