Interesting. Thanks, I dimly remember the occasion, didn't realize it was that size. The rainfall seems to have doubled in many parts of the UK in recent years, some places the rainfall has trebled. There are 1.4 million houses that will shortly be un-insurable, if not so already. Many had just finally been cleaned up when they flooded again the following year.
