I certainly agree with that statement. But I also believe people who are insulated by thoughts and beliefs of going to paradise for committing evil acts against mostly innocent people are in fact cowards among many many other things, IMO. If one is guaranteed a life 100 times or whatever better to shed their current mortal coil, they are succumbing to bribery and greed, which has very little to do with courage.... The fact that they fall for these brainwashing tactics fairly easily is a sad commentary on the condition and intelligence of many human beings in this world. On the issue of carpet bombing, if done against innocent civilians it is definitely an extremely cowardly act. On the other hand, once a state, ruling class or group of fanatics decides to support mass murderers, almost any means to destroy their military structure becomes justified, and is not necessarily a cowardly act in my opinion.
