"ranted endlessly about GST's geopolitical-macroeconomic views" It only sounded like ranting to you because you had no idea what was going on outside of your world of mis-guided new economy investment "advisors". I made a concise and clear case for the recession we are in 15 months ago based on oil prices -- you were so thick that you insisted that oil prices had no impact on the "new economy" because you had no idea how cyclical your little darlings are. You said the same thing earlier in the year when interest rates were going up. If you recall, Eric exited the market based on that analysis despite initially being very skeptical.
