INTC's not the leader though. And you have to acknowledge Mirrorbit looks very nice.

Intel is the leader in Flash sales, and I wouldn't depend on that site for correct or current information. It says current as of Nov 27 but it lists AMD's thunderbird at 1GHz as a new product, P4 @ 1.5GHz as new and even lists P4 & Taulatin as SRAMs....

Mirrorbit is nothing more than multiple bit per cell technology. It was used in EEPROM long ago.

Intel introduced multibit per cell for flash memory with its Strataflash product. AMD hammered the mulitbit per cell technology as unreliable when it was introduced by Intel. AMD promptly copied Intel's technology, changed the name to Mirrorbit and dropped the claim that multibit was unreliable.

Quanti-technology at its finest from AMD.
