Has anyone followed the ENE debacle? Amazing to see a stock that is not a tech go from $90 to $3. It looks like even ENE doesn't know how bad its books have been cooked.

Too bad....I made some nice money off of ENE. Hate to see it go. <g>

Tim, true but why does a nation have to be Arab to be the leader of the Muslim Middle East? Is being Arab that strong a sect or cultural tie?

The majority of what is normally referred to as the Middle East is Arab. Pan-Arab thought is probably weaker then it used to be and its possible that people's Islamic identification might be growing while the relative importance of their Arabic identification is declining, but I still think the issue makes it less likely for Iran to be "the leader of the Muslim Middle East". Another factor is that Iran is predominately Shia, while more Middle Easterners are Sunni.
