The Triity notion came late. You don't have to believe that Jesus lived AND accept that. And all those other notions you mention. That's late stuff.

But... if you don't believe in that stuff, why do you seem (imo) go to such great lengths to protect the ideas?

I don't think believing "that Jesus died for our sins and was resueccated" has any thing to do with every lasting life.

I don't believe... well, most of that stuff.

Sounds like you don't either.

How could a voice that says "turn the other cheek" also say "if you don't say I am the WAY you are going to burn in hell"? It just doesn't make sense.

No... it's not EVIL against GOOD. We make Saddamm EVIL because then we can attack him? He just needs to be dangerous to us. But be honest about it.

The reason I am not a Christian is because I think it means one accepts the
creeds, at least the Apostle's Creed, and most likely the Nicene Creed.

Since those were formulated centuries after Jesus lived and taught, there is no need, IMO, to accept them in order to be a follower of Christ. Why would you let anybody other than Jesus define for you what it means to be a follower of his life and beliefs?
