mk, But very few look at real returns. Most of the folks in my biz only look at nominal returns on graph paper that is not semi-log. Taxes are also hard to figure. You know you are going to get taxed on dividends and realized gains, but it is hard to make general statements on returns because when you get taxed makes such a difference.
