Well, that may be true for YOU but every investment manager on the planet plugs an interest rate into their model to come up with their indifference curve of all possible investments.

Agreed, but unfortunately in the real world... the losers are often J6P's that don't know what is going on, and simply put their money in... even that would be fine except when folks don't have enough to retire a different arm of the government steps in and spends our money to take care of them. It is encumbant on AG to use prudence because it is the well educated 'in the know' class [me and you] that easily sidestep, and the regular blokes that get the shaft. The less the fed does to creat opportunities for sharpies the better.

Time will tell if AL has done a good job or not... too early to tell as these effects lag badly.
