Frank, Perhaps Merlin will comment It's been a long time since the days that I followed Peregrine. My impression at the time was that they were a very well managed company, but I have no idea if the management team is the same now as then or if the team is doing as well. Their strength was infrastructure management, a unique view of asset management. A year or so ago I believe they bought Harbinger. I never took the time to determine where that purchase fits into their core competence. Why do you react with an "ouch" about the SEC filing referring to losses due to acquisition costs? We discuss companies regularly here that are in that position. (I'm not disregarding your comment about the need for cash. That's a separate issue that needs to be closely analyzed.) --Mike Buckley
