>> Too bad they don't have options in the single digits for ENE <<

They have options all the way down to $2.50 strike price for Jan 2002. I bought a few today, but limited the dollar amount to something that I could lose 50% on and not worry.

The Jan 2002 2.5's are around 2.25 I believe. I think if a deal get's done it'll be over $5. Probably in the $6-8 range in my opinion.

Slider,
RE:"and the HUI moving up 50% from here - at a minimum.... in a 9 to 18 month timeframe."

Agreed, but will add that though it could take as long as 18 months, could also take a lot less than 9 months.

February/March likely start, even now through January possible. That's my take, we could have 50% fairly quick.

Best Regards,

Roebear

Slider, Boy I took it in the shorts on ENE to the tune of about 9K. I'll continue to hold my ENE shares though and see what happens. LU, EIX, and GE dodged bankruptcy.

Let's see what tricks ENE still has up its sleeve. I'm sure an ENE vs. DYN lawsuit is on taps. You wonder if this will end up like Tyson Foods merger did.

My guess (and it's the proper response) that ENE should only give the Nonat P/L to DYN over its dead body since DYN and it banks may not have negotiated in good faith....
