Several of your points have inspired new direction for this little train of thought.

For starters, I had the thought earlier today that some people are light carriers and some people use light carriers to guide the way. It does appear to me that in some cases people respect some other person's idea of what is a sound principle more than they do their own. I don't understand that but it does appear to be the case more often than not.

"Of course, I don't know what you believe...but do you believe that you are right about everything, or wrong about everything...or that your beliefs may be right or wrong, but you just don't know???"

I am convinced (believe) that I know what is right and what is wrong about 50% of the time at best. The other 50% of the time, I admit that I don't know. I also reserve the right to change my mind on which 50% I am convinced of at any given time.

BTW all marriages that last the test of time and culture are arranged to some extent or another...ever heard of getting hooked up by friends? The fit of the partners must work for the long term extended relationships (used to be families). I am ok with arranged marriages as long as the partners have the only vote that counts on whether its a go or not.
