stockmarket14: We are in agreement. As I reread my post, I did not say anything about retesting the September lows this year. I'll go a bit further than you have -- I do not think Nasdaq will dip below 1800 this year. Whatever dips or ripples that occur because of tax-selling will be more than met by eager buyers, both institutional and individual, with cash on the sidelines.

Having said that, if earnings warnings and earnings for Q1 2002 disappoint, we may well retest the September lows and head below 1625-1650 range. But that is next year.
