So let's sum up, we have forty years of a slow slide into hell, then maybe four years of a reversal, and now we go right back into "slip, sliding away" mode for another forty years or so, by the end of which they'll have gotten everything the Clintons wanted, AND convinced the American people that the alternatives would have only been worse. Hell of a way to run a railroad. << what good does it do to get elected if you've compromised your agenda so much that you can't enact it. >> So how come the Democrats compromise their agenda as a matter of routine and yet never seem to have that problem?? The one time they lost, in 1994, was because they wrongly decided compromise with the conservatives was no longer necessary.
