14:49 ET Tellium (TELM) 6.84 +0.55 (+8.7%): According to a new study released today by RHK, Tellium will increase its market share of the global optical core switching (OCS) market in 2001 by more than 50% from a yr-ago. According to the study, Ciena will maintain its leadership in the estimated $465 mln worldwide optical core switching equipment market, with a market share of 46%, dropping from 60% a yr ago. TELM is second in share, and will own 29%, an increase of 10 pts of share, or 53% growth compared to its 19% share a year ago.
