CORRECTED - ExciteAtHome could cease service on Nov. 30
In REDWOOD CITY, Calif. story headlined ``ExciteAtHome could cease service on Nov. 30,'' please read in second paragraph ``...will appear in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in San Francisco on Friday...'' instead of ``...will appear in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in San Francisco on Thursday.'' (Corrects day)

A corrected version follows.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 27 (Reuters) - Bankrupt cable Internet access provider Excite@Home Corp. (OTC BB:ATHMQ.OB - news)(Nasdaq:ATHM - news) said on Tuesday it could cease providing service to its 4.1 million U.S. customers on Nov. 30 if it cannot renegotiate agreements with the cable companies that carry its service.

I have not received notice that this will occur. Cnbc could of picked the could up and said would. Could be one horrible mess for the business end that forgot about alternatives.
