That's really not enough. They must change their basic belief system from one where they believe that their way is the only way to one where they understand that there are other ways of worship that are just as good (if not better), of worshipping a supreme being.. They must be taught that islam is just one of many religions, no better, no worse than others. That ALL people are equal. If that cannot be done, then the free world will always have a problem with islam.

Hi Bill. Read through that article and although very interesting I don't think it would do much good with religious fanatics. Even after these guys are taken prisoner they still try to kill someone, knowing they are going to die and to die is just what they want. They kill in the name of Allah so in their minds they are correct. Whatever families these guys have are very proud that they died for the cause. No I don't think having a wife and kids will make any difference to this type of trained killer. The other thing that this article makes clear is that arafat was/is a terrorist and Israel and the USA are dealing with a terrorist. He should just be destroyed like any other terrorist. IMO Lorne
