Hey Peter:

No problem. Well I have to say the juniors/intermediates otherwise I would have closed all my positions that I've held since June. Had I been more nimble, I should have taken profits again at the end of September. That would have been more in keeping with my trades from Apr 2 to near the end of May. Then it was play the seniors for the range they were going through and I could use the margin available. I played Homestake, Franco, Newmont and even Barrick a little, but the circumstances have changed for all since then and the trading ranges at the moment aren't for me. That being said however, I like Franco the best as it will probably end up with Newmont and at least half of Australia. As Newmont drifts lower waiting for the S Africans to make their moves it's looking more inviting. I'm still searching for that elusive $2 to 2.50 that will become marginable on a good move. Also like Agnico at present prices.

Many on this thread and elsewhere on SI believe that saying that you've got to keep some powder dry, but when I'm in I'm usually all in. Now I'm not going to sell my CBD for 30% just to get some cash. Too little risk, too much reward. Now if anyone would just lend me some cash, I promise to turn it into gold. I'm the backward Russel Oliver AKA Cashman.

As for oil, see my previous problem regarding cash. I've been watching all those here who follow it and it looks pretty interesting at these levels.

Otherwise it's patience while listening to the tic toc.

Regards

Bob
