<<biggest handicap Microsoft has is that its mobile client platform>> The place for MSFT operating system is already guaranteed inside Laptops and Pocket PCs.

MSFT wants more. It wants to put them inside the terminal as conceived by NOK and ERICY. There will ba many of them.

<<time honoured fashion, laundered through industry committees.>>

MSFT has a weapon that NOK and ERICY would die to have: The collaboration of systems integrators. Thye are eager to ehlp integrate MSft solutions.

KPMG Consulting’s Microsoft .NET practice incorporates Microsoft’s complete suite of .NET enabled solutions and services and has a collaborative development lab in which customers and a dedicated team of e-business consultants from the alliance can work together on the rapid development and deployment of solutions.

Accenture web site has a similar pitch.

About Nokia Club

MSFT already have MSn, MSNBC and WebTV. It has already experiency in delivering them over ADSL or CATV.

As everyone is seeking applications, MSFT has all of them already. It needs only to make tem available over the air interface.
