There is no question that the airline industry including the hospitality industry have overcapacity that was build during the years of 1998 to 2000. But the way that those industries work and the leverage they use it is no wonder that they arrived were they are.

At 65% they may break even at 80% they start making money and over 90% to 95% all revenues go almost straight to the bottom line.
