Arab League Warns Against Attacking Iraq
Tuesday November 27 5:04 PM ET

CAIRO (Reuters) - The head of the 22-member Arab League said on Tuesday that Arabs would not stand for any attack on Iraq as an extension of the U.S. ``war on terrorism'' and said such a move would destroy the present global coalition.

Amr Moussa, secretary-general of the inter-government body and a former Egyptian foreign minister, was speaking a day after President Bush (news - web sites) demanded Baghdad let international arms inspections resume or face unspecified consequences.

``We do not accept striking Iraq or any other Arab country,'' Moussa said in remarks carried on the Web site of Egypt's official MENA news agency and monitored by the BBC.

``Launching military action against any Arab state would spell the end of consensus in the international alliance against terrorism.''

He said that this Arab position would not be changed by Bush's comments. The U.S. president did not specify what consequences Iraq might face but said President Saddam Hussein (news - web sites), long an avowed enemy of Washington, would ``find out.''

Arab leaders have repeatedly said they oppose expanding the U.S. campaign, which has focused on removing the Taliban Islamic militia from power in Afghanistan (news - web sites), to include any Arab state.

There have been concerns in the region that Washington might launch strikes against Arab countries such as Sudan, Libya, Iraq and Syria, which Washington includes on an official list of states it believes sponsor terrorism.

Are any of you wondering, why we have not heard of a single g4 Hospital contingent on the side of bin laden. When he commits men to battle it is his responsibility to assemble support services to deal with needs of a battlefield. Like Hospitals, medics, etc.... But no, we see none, because there are none.Terrorists like these, view average citizens as fodder. The zealots taking up arms are reducible to two groups, dumb and dumber.

bin laden is one of histories radar screen blips who empowers hisself through a stream of delusion over a long period of time. Think about it. What would his organization do if it did rule the world? Did anyone else see the TALIBAN special on MSNBC where the Pakistani Mullah who ran the school endorsed the Taliban, and their methods, and subsequently projected a Taliban type government for the rest of the world.

What the hell are these nuts thinking? The United States needs to prosecute this war until these extremists who would have us all cow towing and wearing berkas, are gone.

This is one of the few times where my tax dollars and yours are being well spent. God help us if our military is not able to stop these fools.
