<Yes, more useful things than 100 years ago. From an individual's point of view, they are living and the value was the same then as now, but from an interactive point of view, we live in an exchange system with relationships and integration with other people. > From the point of view of information or "things" yes... as far as 'people' and personal face to face [real, or sensual if you will] relationships are concerned, it's pretty much unchanged.... although cities are bigger I suppose and you can meet more people.
