But know you've opened a whole new can of worms... obesity and dental problems early in life are exploding in this country BECAUSE of 'technology' in the food business :)

Well, as far as I'm aware the best technology available for the prevention of problems is a little stick you shove between your teeth, and some string you do the same with... I'd argue EDUCATION and the fortitude to instill in in a child is the most important thing there -ng-

That said, I concede that on this example and many others a certain level of technology brings 'happiness'. If you look back to the beginning of the conversation with Mq I was speaking of todays supposedly huge advances [be measurment of chip speed or bits processed, etc from the article].
