I agree. And we must be open to His answer...because sometimes He speaks through a friend or a stranger. I had an experience a few years ago that confirmed this belief. I was alone in a strange city with my husband dying a painful death in a major hospital. When I walked into a florist shop to buy him some flowers... tears flowing down my face... the young man behind the counter came around to hug me. He simply said, " You are not alone. You have a friend in me." Tell me that that wasn't God speaking through one of His creation? I will always remember that young man...and try to share that same friendship with those who are in pain.
