the momo fund managers don't have to sell their tech stocks, why should they, bonuses are more important. doesn't anyone remember that special new rule that was passed by the SEC after 9/11 that mufus's could get interest free loans to avoid redemptions. Does anyone believe there is any oversight here as in determining whether these free loans are being used to meet redemptions or to run up momentum trading toys? An argument can be made by them that the latter can accomplish the former. In any case, I'm sure we are seeing the results of a greater than usual amount of pseudo criminal activity behind the latest rally.
