* 11:39 ET Niles Comments : Lehman analyst Dan Niles makes comments on stocks he likes; Niles cites three trends: increased demand due to seasonality, low expectations, and low valuation; focuses on names that have been given up for dead: GTW, CPQ, FCS, and CNXT -- thinks these firms can hit his Q4 numbers. Still defensive moving into Q1, however, particularly on semis, which are likely to have a tougher time than computer hardware cos.

Took your cue and sold ENE at 1.22. Brave but not crazy <g>

Zeev,

I don't think ENE's valuation is tied to its asset value anymore. I think many assume ENE will declare bankruptcy. If so, shareholders almost always lose virtually everything. They may be issued warrants at some outlandish ratio like 10:1 or 20:1. Just my personal experience having owned a couple Chapter 11's.

ENE's most important assets have legs; wouldn't it be less expensive for institutions interested in those professional traders to simply hire them away after the company's demise?

I suppose you are right, but FSTW has no debt and was EBITDA positive last quarter.
