Local charities are always good. We gift annually to an organization that help at-risk kids. For charities... There's always Manna food bank.

BTW, are you trying to raise the benevolent bar with your charitable donations? I, for one, don't mind but beware of the sainthood syndrome. You may end up wearing a mitre or find yourself living in Calcutta. Oh, Brother Tom, Can I trade online in Calcutta?
