This is not the case. There is a premium paid for low access times, for example. Flash is not like RAM where it is strictly interchangeable, either.

I'd say that the burden of proof lies with you on this one. You make a lot of sweeping statements about premium pricing on advanced Flash memory, but I haven't seen any market analysis to back it up... just a few carefully chosen technical specs with no pricing, volume, or availability.

Furthermore, all RAM isn't interchangeable...
