<<here's a wild card - would buffett step in?>>Buffett likes situations with in place management that he trusts...I see a bit of a problem with that here. He likes financials and businesses he can understand...ENE is a black box[black hole] in many ways. He also might have a problem with regulatory limitations owning another utility.
