...USA has part in the trouble around Israel and support Saudi-Arabia too much, which may be the cause of the hatred of some guy named Osama. There are some good reasons why Americans are hated so much at so many places around the world - these people feel that USA limits their liberty.

And Uncle Frank mysteriously deduced:
...now that you've become an apologist for terrorism...

Wow, that's a stretch!

Paraphrasing reasons for terrorism, as already stated by the Taliban and bin Laden, among countless others, is hardly the same as apologism. Would you call CNN or the New York Times apologists for terrorism just because they have quoted terrorists? Here's a clue: Lars didn't even say that he agreed with the goal of reducing American support for Israel. But there are billions of people in the world who do agree with that goal, and who are not terrorists, who do not support terrorism, and who just as disgusted and horrified by the September 11 attacks as you or I.

Consider these steps next time (the order is important):

(1) Think.
(2) Post.

Terrorism can be defined in many ways, but most media in Europe agree on the definition. There is no doubt, that the people in Europe that fought Nazism and Hitler were terrorists. That people that lived in communist regimes and fought it with weapons were terrorists. And both prominent leaders of PLO and Israel have been terrorists. Also, there is no doubt, that there are certain elements of the Saudi-Arabian regime, that uses terrorism against its own population. If you ever lived there, you would know.

If terrorism cannot be excused, and terrorists are to be trialed no matter what, why has USA then supported former terrorists? There are a lot of reasons to do that, just as Denmark has heroed those Danes who sacrificed their lives as terrorists against nazism.

I'm not enough into the problems around Israel to make judgements about that, except that U.S./UK media shows a very different picture than most other media. The media do not contradict each other, but definitely forms people's opinions in each their directions. My post did not tell about my personal opinions on the subject.
