Faisal was in power for 25 years or so. He is familiar with the entire Middle Eastern landscape and the roles that the United States and Russia have played.. His name has been mentioned numerous times in the Rashid book. If he believes Saddam can be toppled from within, I think the US should support it. I'll betcha that there are people in Iraq that think Saddam has gone soft in his old age. We could get rid of Saddam and get one of those as a replacement. Edit: Just read your next post to me. You've got this covered. I read in Sunday's paper that the first person that may be tried b4 Bush's military tribunal is a French citizen. The article gave his name. Should be hearing from the French on the issue shortly. jttmab
