Isn't it a bit dumb to announce to your enemy that you intend to attack them? Saddam will probably try to provoke Israel into attacking them so he can break up the Arab coalition. If Israel gets into the fray then we will have a whole different battle to fight. During the Gulf War, Israel stayed out of the fight to keep the coalition together. Israel is now run by Sharon who I doubt will stay out of the fight for anyone.
