Atahualpa, the dying captive Peruvian Inca King, told Pizzaro just about the same thing about cocaine when with his dying breath he said in effect that, "Cocaine will be the strength of the Incas and the scourge of the white men..." (wish I had Lester Grinspoon's source material at hand to quote accurately but I don't...sorry about that).

Given the historical timeline I doubt the Chou en Lai story. Good to see you on this thread. Hope to see more of your postings.
