Oh yes ISH that is exactly what the acronyms mean but after you determine the exact qualities of these types of memory you will find that the terms RAM and ROM are misleading and belie the real meaning, Tommy (the engineer) hasn't figured that out as of yet.

Lsh, On several occasions in the past I have attempted to give poor poor richie some direction about rom and ram. I gave him the links to the definitions and I also used concrete examples. And I mean real concrete examples. I explained to richie that one of his problems was that his mind was all rom and he had no ram. That off course being true I knew that he would not understand. But I tried. LOL And all would have to admit that using richie's mind in any example is a real concrete example. tom watson tosiwmee
