Pat.. ONIS.. like you, all I was focused on was treating it as a long.. Happilly broke-even out of it but forgot to short the thing.. Yesterday's Nasdaq candle, especially after a multi-day run-up was a shoe-in for a descent today. There was probably a comment or two that hurt ONIS also as AVNX also suffered.. As far as stocks, I have about 35 stocks that I focus on to scan, plus a very stingy scan on TC2000 that picks only gems, short or long. it picked out.. ISIL, XLNX, SMTC, LSCC, KLIC, IDTI, CCMP as shorts today.. Unless I don't have something worthy on my 35 list I usually just browse them to inform me of what's going on generally. TXCC looked a lot like SCMR and ITWO, pattern-wise.. just have to know when the party is getting old. In addition to FDRY and PMCS, TERN (great uptrend) and INKT are the other shorts I picked.. Haven't done much with QLGC lately.. it swings in very large ranges but lately is just mucking around.. some folks just can't let a stock go.. but in time it will. Don't do FFIV much due to volume although it looks like a go swinger. EXTR.. surprised it stayed as strong considering NWX weakness. Since I am short I bet Bin Laden is captured tonight and confesses to everything<g>.. Rashid
