5:47PM Last Set of S&P Index Changes : S&P SmallCap 600 component Smithfield Foods (SFD) will replace SCI Systems Inc. (SCI) in the S&P MidCap 400 Index after the close of trading on Thursday, December 6; S&P 500 component Sanmina Corp. (SANM) is acquiring SCI Systems Inc. in a transaction anticipated to close on that date. The transaction is still subject to shareholder approval. Manhattan Associates (MANH) will replace Smithfield Foods in the S&P SmallCap 600 Index.
