That's a stupid statement. What the author means is "Athlon is limited to a 2.13GB/s connection to the chipset". Saying that it's somehow not friendly to dual channel is stupid. A dual channel PC133 board would be *much* faster than a single channel PC133 board on an Athlon.

I am focusing on performance numbers. Being 4x below
the "true" potential of 8000, 1500 or 2000 in UMA
is of no relevance.

Actually, the Sandra 912MB/s memory result is not
bad, it is only 15% below the theoretical 1050MB/s
FSB limit.
