Larry...as far as position swing shorts right now...i have absolutely no opinion...i'm just sticking with hitting whatever the weak flavor of the day is...news related plays....etc.

i'm not thinking farther out than one day at a time...

today was a special treat in that we got to hold shorts for longer than one hour....but who knows what tomorrow will bring...

quite a few of our favorite players actually made rather significant corrections today...MERQ CSCO MSFT and many others have already pulled back to thier 20mas...maybe they'll bounce there...or maybe they need their 40ma's..i really don't know...pretty feeble bounces today though.

I just shorted AMCC near $14. Technicals caught my attention and they just presented at CSFB yesterday and mangement doesn't really see any improvement in fundamentals. Still have inventory overhang, no visibility thru Mar 2002 and think things wont get better till 2003. Of course I have a buy to cover stop set just in case to manage things if I'm wrong.
