I once met a prostitute from Hawaii. She explained to me why the Japanese have a penchant for things small. The story is too short to go into here.

In any case Intel's design win says that Intel has a good shot at elbowing out TI from its dominant position in the cellular phone Digital Signal Processing Market.

Saturn, that's a pretty big deal, and that's putting it mildly. Do you really think so? I mean, this is TI's bread and butter, and they ain't no low to mid-tier chip house.

And that will be very lucrative to Intel's revenue - considering the potential volume of that market in years to come.

By the way - did you see the DoCoMo Cell phones in operation? I heard that they can be used to purchase items from appropriately equipped vending machines - with billing being updated to the Cell Phone owners account.
