morning chris, fut's reacting to jobless claims numbers.. 08:33 ET Economic Data : Jobless claims rose 54K to 488K in the Nov 24 week vs the consensus of 430K; this sharp increase offsets much of the good news seen in recent weeks - tough to say what the claims trend is given recent volatility but this is a slight negative. Durable Orders soared 12.8% in October vs the 1.8% consensus, rebounding from a huge 8.5% decline in September; notable that much of the rebound came in defense which may be tied to the huge Lockheed contract; ex-defense orders up 5.6%. Not seeing much market reaction to either number.
