In the war against terrorism, the world is a target rich environment. Being a leader sometimes means acting and then bringing the rest along afterwards. That of course is much easier of you're successful. Be interesting to review all the warnings about not going into Afghanistan before that battle began.

Who cares about German opinion? This is a US national security issue and the Administration must take all necessary steps to protect our citizens. If our allies want to help out that is great. If not, they ought to step back out of the way....
