A bailout would be a horrible idea - that's why we are NOT like Japan, our system doesn't bail out the garbage.

I wish that ENE employees had some sort of safety net, however. That may be a function of a law saying that 401k plans in company stock should have some recourse to hard assets in the event of a bankruptcy.

But I am not an MBA or a lawyer, just a concerned citizen who is glad he manages all his own savings and retirement accounts directly.
