i do not have a link for intra-day junk bond action. But junk bonds have rallied only modestly in sharp contrast to stocks. Current prices do not reflect much hope of a strong economic rebound anytime soon. Just the opposite of stocks.

Also junk bonds take time to deliver big returns since high yields account for a good portion of such returns even in a strong market. People looking to make 50% in a few months had best look elsewhere.

LTK007: The reason that market refuses to react negatively to the jobless claim # today is because market had already known this since Sept. 11 attack and taken that into account by reaching the new low on Sept. 21due to its forward looking nature. What the market is doing now is to discount any "CURRENT" data and look over the valley, 6 month from now.
